Rental rates, terms & conditions

Minimum stay:
Minimum stay is seven nights.

Occupancy:
Maximum occupancy is six people. There is a king-size bed in the master bedroom, a queen and a single in the second bedroom and a double-size sofabed in the living room.

Rates:
All rates are in US dollars and include maid and pool service for three days per week.

High season (November through March inclusive, and Semana Santa): $1,000 US per week; $3,500 US per month.

Low season (April through October): $750 US per week; $2,700 US per month.

Payment terms:
A 50% deposit is required to hold a reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to the start of the rental. A rental confirmation will be provided upon receipt of the deposit and completed rental agreement. Reservations not paid in full by the due date are subject to cancellation. Payment may be paid by cheque (Canadian or U.S. banks) or by credit card through PayPal.

Cancellation policy:
Reservations may be cancelled up to 120 days prior to the start of the rental for a full refund of the deposit paid. There will be no refund on cancellations made within 120 days of the start of the rental.

Damage deposit:

A damage deposit of $250 US must be paid 30 days prior to the start of the rental. It will be returned within 14 days of the completion of the rental provided there has been no damage to real or personal property and that all the conditions of this agreement have been met.

Deductions from the deposit shall be made for any damage done to the property or its contents, normal wear and tear excepted.

Check-in:
Check-in time is after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

Other conditions:
Casa Sheila is non-smoking. Guests are asked to smoke outside or on the roof-top deck.

No pets are allowed at any time.

All rentals require a rental agreement including mailing address and telephone number. At least one person in the rental party must be over the age of 25.

Neither the owner nor its representatives will be held responsible for injury, loss, or damage to any person or property of persons occupying the rental property.
